Description

Artifex Animation Studios is looking for a Lead Animator for upcoming film projects.

The candidate should be well-rounded and efficient, able to supervise and provide realistic animation as required via the Softimage XSI software. The candidate should also have knowledge of the following tasks: modeling, rigging, lighting, and/or compositing.

Requirements
For the candidate to be considered, he or she must fill the following requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in a production environment;
- Must have supervised an animation team in a production environment;
- Must live in Montreal, QC or be willing to relocate here;
- Extremely proficient in Softimage XSI;
- Able to work with tight deadlines and manage stress;
- Experience in animating animals and photo-real characters a must;
- Bilingual; must be fluent in French and English.
